Judging books by their covers… September 2023

Book and magazine cover designs are an essential aspect of the publishing industry. They are the first thing that catches the reader's eye and can make or break a book's success. A great cover design not only reflects the content of the book or magazine but also appeals to the target audience.

This month’s roundup is quite an exciting mix of cover designs, covering books, magazines and there’s even a report cover that piqued my interest. I’d love to add links to the cover designer, illustrator or photographer for each publication, however, it’s proving tricky to find out who to credit. I think the publishing industry should do more to highlight the great work created.

Have you seen any covers recently that have inspired you?
