I’m a fan of Do Books. Their small publications belie the wealth of insight and knowledge contained within the pages. This is Robert Poynton’s third title with this publisher, following Do Pause and Do Improvise. Once again, Robert has produced another insightful book. This is no self-help book, but more an overview of how conversations work, the different kinds of conversation and the things that influence what a conversation can be.
Alongside the insights, some valuable tips and maxims act more as triggers to consider rather than instructions on having a good conversation. This book has made me think about conversation in a different way.
