A Technique for Producing Ideas

James Webb Young

I recently re-read Paul Arden’s book, It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want To Be, in which he references A Technique for Producing Ideas, so I thought it wise to read from the source.

This book is short and incredibly to the point. Unlike many more recent titles based on this book’s premise, it’s not padded out with waffle. The author discusses two main principles behind generating new ideas and introduces five methods to achieve that. Don’t expect any revelations if you’ve read anything on creative thinking or any derivatives.
