I was fortunate to receive a copy of Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to Happiness as a Christmas gift from my son. As a fan, I was intrigued to see how Bill’s stories translate into a book and I wasn’t disappointed.
The book is simple in format, with each chapter focusing on a thing that makes the author happy, delivered via a collection of stories around that subject. It’s easy to read and thanks to great storytelling thoroughly entertaining. I found myself laughing out loud at certain points, especially the chapter about dogs – the book is worth reading just for that chapter alone.
