For those new to the sport, Whyman does a solid job of explaining the rules, technology and terminology. At first, I found this a little distracting, but I soon appreciated how well it was written. Striking a good balance of information for newcomers and long-time fans alike.
This isn’t a race-by-race review of a season. It’s a deeper insight into the inner workings of a top-level F1 team. Covering the 2023–2024 seasons, Whyman had rare access across the organisation. He moves between departments and disciplines, telling their stories with clarity and purpose.
